Draftsperson- Midwest Tile & Concrete
We are seeking a highly motivated Draftsperson to join our team! The successful candidate will have the ability to participate in complex and high-value projects, work with multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing the accuracy and quality of work. Responsibilities:
- The ability to perform engineering design using computer-aided design programs.
- The aptitude and ability to learn Midwest's in-house Titan access-based software.
- Possess the ability to interpret blueprints and create job orders and invoices.
- To be a contributing team member in regard to creative design approaches and decisions with supporting documentation to Sales and estimator staff.
- Prepare shop drawing documents that are of superior quality.
- Tabulate and address review comments on deliverables provided by customers and sales staff.
- Provide quality audits of your own work in accordance with Company’s quality control program and processes.
- The ability to prepare shop drawings from sketches, field notes, verbal description, and specifications.
- Independent and collective management of files and design with internal and external team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience on computer-aided design programs used for creating architectural, construction and engineering blueprints. ( E.G. - Titan, CAD,)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be meticulous and very detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently, collectively, and a self-starter.
- Ability to prepare construction documents using good design judgment and meeting agency design guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment on multiple projects simultaneously both independently and in a team environment.

We produce high-strength precast concrete to manufacture underground drainage structures. Our batching, placement and molding procedures all contribute to the production of durable and dependable concrete products. We have customers throughout northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
