Chassis Engineer - Actuators
The candidate will have experience with chassis control systems and vehicle system engineering with strong skills in electrical system communications, system performance assessment and the relationship between vehicle level and component system performance and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
You will plan and coordinate the vehicle level chassis control activities and development
You will integrate and implement the new controllers and firmware in the company
Development Fleet
You will collaborate with internal engineering teams and suppliers to system performance,
execute engineering disciplines and cascade performance assessment to the components
You will optimize the design and build of our Prototype Development Fleet
You will collaborate with experts in AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision and Robotics from all
teams throughout the company
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical (or related) engineering – Masters or Phd a plus
Experience in vehicle engineering
Extensive experience with vehicle systems communications and control strategies- CAN & Network skills
Understanding of mechanical systems design, hydraulic systems, and system architecture
Experience in testing and vehicle development
Knowledge of automotive program development/release process and long term schedule
planning

CAD proficiency
Experience at automotive OEM or significant Tier 1
Polarion, Jira and Confluence experience.
Matlab/Simulink software proficiency
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $82.00 - $87.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
