Job Purpose: Responsible for routine maintenance and repairs to production equipment and machines, facilities, restrooms, electrical devices, and building systems.
Duties:
Departmental

Inspecting machinery, equipment, buildings and systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Completing small repairs such as fixing locks, leaky taps and broken windows

Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers and carbon monoxide detectors

Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported by clients or colleagues

Maintaining tools and equipment required to perform the role effectively

Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed

Obtain the skills required to repair sewing machines and embroidery machines

Perform all other tasks as required and/or directed

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Mechanical and Electrical aptitude and skill set the safely and accurately inspect, replace, and/or repair such equipment and systems.

Dry wall repair, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction aptitude and skill set to safely and accurately inspect, replace, and/or repair related systems.

3 to 5 years in a maintenance role

Associates or higher level education preferred but not required

Apprenticeship or trade school preferred but not required

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, 25 pounds frequently
