We are seeking a dynamic Treatment Coordinator--aka Smiles Sales Specialist--to join our thriving dental specialty practice. This role is pivotal in guiding patients through their journey to a fresh new smile, from initial consultation to treatment completion. As the face of our practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, promoting treatment options, and CREATING LASTING CONNECTIONS with our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer Phones and Schedule New Patient Exams: Answer patient phone calls, texts, and emails with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Patient Consultation: Collect and manage new patient records including photos, radiographs, and 3D scans--this is a hybrid clinical and administrative position. Conduct thorough initial consultations, explaining treatment options, timelines, and financial aspects with clarity and empathy. Take dictation for doctor's treatment notes--touch-typing skills are STRONGLY preferred.
- Marketing, Sales and Promotion: Actively promote treatments and products to potential patients and referring offices, demonstrating their benefits and aligning them with patient needs.
- Track and Manage Practice Sales Statistics: Report on key performance indicators.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service at every patient interaction, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, treatment planning, patient communication, and financial arrangements with meticulous attention to detail; manage communications with referring offices including consultation reports, treatment complete reports, etc.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Clinical Duties: As a small team, we all work together and know how to pitch in when we're down a man or woman! Even if the majority of the time you are in the front office and working with new patients, sometimes we'll need your help seating patients, preparing operatories, and sterilizing instruments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales-driven role, preferably in a healthcare/dental setting, elective cosmetic procedures such as plastic surgery, medspa, or selling luxury experiences/hospitality.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and of all ages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Passion for customer service and patient care, with a focus on creating memorable experiences with empathy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also thriving independently.
- Willingness to assist with all practice duties as requested.
Benefits:
- Base pay is $25-28/hour based on years of experience. Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives paid monthly; potential to earn an additional $1000-2500+ a month when modest growth goals are met. This increases earning potential to over $80,000 per year, not including value of benefits.

- Experience working in a medical or dental office environment is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of medical administrative support and dental office operations is preferred.
