What is a Multipurpose Home? Our multipurpose homes are residential facilities designed to support youth, particularly Level II repeat juvenile offenders. These homes have a proven track record of interrupting patterns of lifetime criminal behavior. Our staff employ a model of care that focuses on changing problem behaviors and attitudes, enhancing skills, and aiding recovery from setbacks and mistakes.
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead our Macon County Multipurpose Home in Franklin, NC. The Program Manager will be responsible for the on-site administration and supervision of program operations, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for residents. This role includes managing the home's budget, supervising staff, delivering program services, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining positive relationships with service professionals, clients and their families, neighbors, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the group home

Manage and allocate the program's budget effectively

Supervise and support a team of child-care workers and other staff members

Ensure high-quality delivery of program services

Coordinate and manage volunteer activities

Foster and maintain relationships with service professionals, clients, families, neighbors, and the community
Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (preferred fields: Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related)

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with the client population

Previous supervisory experience in a child-care setting is required

Direct care experience with adolescents and their families is highly preferred
