Like Family Personal Care is a personal care agency serving the elderly and those with chronic disabilities and health conditions in the state of Utah. We’re passionate about helping our clients preserve their quality of life and maintain their independence.
Currently, we’re searching for the perfect candidate to hire for our Washington County, Utah location. LFPC’s ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, bright, hard-working, and passionate about helping people in need of in-home assistance. As a home caregiver, you’ll help fellow Utah citizens who are suffering from chronic health conditions, as well as senior citizens, preserve their dignity and maintain their independence.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Like Family Personal Care’s in-home caregivers help support individuals with chronic health conditions and disabilities, as well as the elderly, in preserving their dignity, becoming more independent, having fun, and building valuable connections.
As an in-home caregiver, you will care for clients in their very own homes. However, as part of your caregiving role (and depending on the particular client), you may also be asked to participate or help your client participate in activities in their community, or hobbies that they enjoy. Our caregivers gain valuable experience in the human services field and will be given many opportunities to advance within the organization.
POSITON RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist clients with daily living activities
- Assist clients with bathing, meal prep, feeding, transportation, medication reminders, errands, etc.
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintain positive and compassionate attitude while working with clients and clients' loved ones
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment for client
- Reliability and integrity are imperative and crucial in this caregiving position. Be on time for your interview and shifts, and responsive to texts/calls during working hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must Live within the St. George area or be able to reliably commute.
- CNA certification preferred, but not required.
- CPR/first aid certified. (Can also obtain upon hire).
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
