Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Knowledge & Skills
Background of competition or coaching in the sport for which the application is being made, at the professional, collegiate, or high school level.
Collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA https://iit7.peopleadmin.com/hr/postings/new?position_type_id=2Division III level in the sport for which the application is being made.
Knowledge of/commitment to NCAA rules specifically regarding recruiting
Experience developing and motivating student-athletes for athletic and academic success.
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY
This position will not have any supervisory responsibility.
Physical Environment and Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to lift 25lbs and may be required to stand for long periods of time.
This position requires night and weekend availability. In some cases the candidate make be exposed to outdoor working conditions. The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 25lbs is required.
Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions may exist in the sports of soccer, baseball, and lacrosse.
