Job Title: Senior Vault Manager
Job Summary:
Ensure operations are managed from a day-by-day perspective by having all direct reports and their teams follow the standard operating procedure set forth by Ferrari Express Inc.
Providing an optimal customer service experience.
Ensure the department under your direct report is compliant with security standards and regulations set forth by the East Coast Security Manager and the designated Branch Manager for your location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a description, therefore not limited only to:
- Carry out your duties professionally and efficiently and in line with the policies and procedures of the company.
- Identify and implement best operational practices to streamline the day-to-day operations.
- Ensure we have a full complement of vault and trucking.
- Ensure that all employees in each department have received training and the applicable equipment to complete their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to, onboarding training, specific department and system training, and any other training that may be required either externally or internally. All training must be documented accordingly for auditing purposes.
- Dispatching of trucks and gaurds.
- Monitor GPS
- Manage shipping supplies
- Issue a job description to all direct reports and ensure the employees reporting to your direct reports have job descriptions. This function is to be supported by H.R.
- Coordinate the domestic/international shipments, ensure shipments are recovered in a timely manner, inspected and delivered.
- Log all items in/out of the vault
- Operations must be completed within the insurance limit boundaries. Any exemption request must be made to the East Coast Security Manager and Miami Branch Manager, and approval must be received prior to the execution of the operation.
- Maintain a high level of relationship with the vendors under your management; this includes but is not limited to UPS and any other vendor that may be assigned in the future to your responsibility.
- Truck maintenance coordinator with the Fleet Manager
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Familiarize yourself with all the tools provided by Ferrari; this includes AS400 / Back Office / POD devices and any other software and/or hardware that may be implemented in the future.
- Resolve internal conflicts with direct reports in a speedy manner with the support of H.R.
- Any incident involving a potential loss (missing or damaged packages) or a significant delay in collection/delivery must be reported immediately to the East Coast Security Manager and the Miami Branch Manager.
- Assist with all shows and special events/services within your designated area.
- Follow all other lawful and reasonable requests/instructions set forth by the Miami Branch Manager.
