Professional Construction Solutions, LLC is hiring experienced Electrical Owners Representatives for utility-scale solar in Texas and ongoing projects across the USA. The Electrical Owners Representative will monitor the construction and installation of electrical infrastructure for our clients utility-scale solar project. This person will be responsible for monitoring the activities associated with design, installation, and testing of the solar power plant electrical infrastructure, including solar panels, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and transmission lines.
Responsibilities:
- Review electrical designs and specifications for the solar power plant, in collaboration with the engineering team and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that the electrical system is installed according to the project schedule and budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Confirm the installation, testing, and commissioning of the electrical equipment and systems, including supervising electricians and other electrical contractors.
- Collaborate with other project leaders, such as the construction manager, to ensure that the electrical system is integrated seamlessly with other components of the solar plant.
- Confirm that the electrical system is properly tested and commissioned, and that all required documentation is completed and filed.
- Manage any changes or variations in the electrical scope of work, and communicate these changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained for the electrical system, and that all regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitor the performance of the electrical system during construction, and identify any issues or risks that may affect the project's progress or quality.
- Confirm existing quality control measures for the electrical system, and ensure that all work is performed to a high standard of quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, and ensure that all team members are aware of the electrical requirements and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing the electrical aspects of large-scale solar construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical design, installation, and testing standards, codes, and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
