2nd Shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am
A chemical operator is responsible for the manufacture of products according to specific batch instructions. This position requires the ability to work flexible schedules, typically 8 hr shifts, with some 12 hr shifts as production schedules demand. Operators will report to a production lead or production supervisor.
Typical Duties:
Typical duties will include but not be limited to the preparation and/or modification of the following:
- Manufacture products according to specific batch instructions
- Batch weighing, mixing, milling, filling, and packaging of products
- Documentation and verification of critical control points and process deviations
- Monitor high temperature chemical reactors
- Unload/Load tank truck quantities
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Equipment experience preferred:
- Reactors
- Blend Tanks
- Heat Exchangers
- Calibrated Scales
- Mills
- Filtering Systems
- Metal Detectors
- Pumps and Hoses
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to comply with our company policies for OSHA, ISO, and Food Safety
- Manufacturing experience, 2 year minimum
- Certified forklift driver, preferred, but will train on company equipment
- High school diploma, required
