Qualifications

Formal education required Graduate of an accredited college or university - BA/BS
•
Minimum of three to five years of experience in Early Intervention Service Coordination
•
Responsibilities

This individual will work collaboratively to provide supervisory support to team members providing service coordination (i
•
documentation review, training, regularly scheduled meetings, etc
•
This individual will also be responsible to work with EI QA to review, analyze data in accordance with established timelines and/or based upon project/audit/grant needs, assist with the performance of compliance monitoring, etc
•
The EI QA/Compliance Coordinator will work with Director of Clinic Services and EI QA to create reports and written summaries of statistics inclusive of areas of strength and those in need of improvement
•
Supervises, orients, and trains all EI SC members in all SC policies and practices related to the provision of EI services in accordance with NYS/NYC and White Glove regulations
•
At the direction of the EI Director screens and reviews initial EI intake referrals of children/families
•
Assists service coordinators, as appropriate, to coordinate and integrate plans for continuity of care, particularly with other professionals, such as Social Workers, PTs, OTs, etc
•
Develops and reviews initial and revised plans of care in collaboration with EI team
•
Performs chart reviews and quality improvement activities to insure that the EI department adheres to all NYC/NYS and Omni EI mandates, policies and procedures
•
Works with EI QA to draft and modify quality assurance policies and procedures
•
Assists EI QA to interpret and implement internal and external EI quality assurance standards
•
Assists EI QA to document and summarize internal audits and other quality assurance activities
