Overview
As Talent Acquisition Generalist, you hold a vital role in ensuring the company hires and retains the right talent to execute and achieve company mission and business objectives. You will take ownership of full cycle recruiting while developing effective interviewing, assessment, and hiring methods.
We seek an individual who can develop effective methods that provide pathways to source good shop candidates, where the emphasis is on hiring and developing skilled CNC Machinist through training and mentorship programs. Accountability includes recruiting across the spectrum of all job roles. You will also manage the onboarding process so that new hires feel welcome and supported. You will embrace a partnership approach collaborating closely with department heads and members of the leadership team to address immediate and future talent needs. Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are required to develop meaningful relationships with much of our shop floor personnel.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes effective full cycle recruiting methods and strategies to attract, assess, and hire the talent needed to execute business operations and meet company objectives
- Embraces a partnership approach by cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with business leaders to identify the skills and abilities needed in each open position
- Works with department heads to fine-tune and create meaningful job summaries and job descriptions
- Develops good candidate sourcing methods that provide a flow of desired talent to meet immediate hiring needs while forecasting future hiring needs
- Reviews resumes, conducts initial screenings, and evaluates candidates against job requirements to determine suitability for further consideration
- Coordinates and schedules interviews with hiring team members ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process
- Develops effective candidate assessment, screening, and vetting methods including phone screening, questionnaires, behavioral-based interview questions, and similar methods to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Utilizes effective means to keep track of open positions, candidate status, pre-employment, and onboarding progress
- Collaborates with hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate terms, facilitate the offer acceptance process, and prepare offer letters
- Manages the preboarding and onboarding process including facilitating background checks, collecting new hire documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and tracking training during the onboarding process
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback
- Continuously and independently seeks new ways to improve both the candidate experience and recruiting process
Experience and Education:
- 4+ years full-cycle recruitment experience with the ability to hire CNC machinist talent and other roles
- Bilingual Spanish is required
- Experience recruiting within the aerospace and defense sectors is helpful
- Knowledgeable of effective preboarding and onboarding methods
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, job posting sites, and web-based search
- 4-year degree preferred
Compensation: $75-85K
