Insuritas is seeking self-motivated, detail oriented full-time Personal Lines P&C Retention Specialists. Retention is a hybrid role, drawing on both Sales AND Service skillsets. Duties include, but are not limited to, counseling current policyholders on their coverage selections, quoting and processing endorsements, re-marketing coverage, ensuring policies rewritten meet carrier's new buisness underwriting guidelines, identification of coverage gaps with solutions offered and cross-selling. Retention Specialist will receive a generous compensation package which includes Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage as well as Commission on lines of business added to an existing customers' account.
Responsibilitites:
- Retain existing policies by identifying policyholder's needs, counseling coverage, and offering reasonable alternatives.
- Retain existing policyholders by re-marketing existing policies as needed.
- Efficiently and accurately communicate with policyholders, carriers, and agency partners.
- Cross-selling on all mono-line customer accounts.
- Identify gaps in coverage and offer solutions.
- Use existing resources and collaborate with others as needed to resolve policyholder needs.
- Negotiate with Underwriting on the policyholder's behalf as appropriate.
- Pro-active outreach to existing policyholders to maintain book of business.
- Manage book rolls.
- Assist with Sales and Service functions as needed.
- Remain available and answer incoming calls as they come in throughout the day.
Interested applicants should possess:
- At least 3 years in the PL insurance industry.
- P&C Insurance License in good standing.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Personal Lines Auto and Home policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of the policyholder and agency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 2-3 years experience with MS Wrod, Outlook and/or Excel.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, College Degree or Insurance specific equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years Call Center Experience preferred
- Independent Agency experience preferred
- Familiarity with using Raters such as EZLynx
- SalesForce or similar agency management system experience
