```Duties```:
- Assist the orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Assist with patient assessment and record medical history
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
```Skills```:
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of orthodontic assisting procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for orthodontic appliances is a plus
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical documentation and record keeping
