Job Summary:
The Contract Manager will oversee all aspects of contract management, including the preparation, negotiation, and administration of commercial and government contracts. This role requires strong knowledge of legal requirements, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record in contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are aligned with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to finalize agreements.
- Contract Administration: Manage the administration of contracts from inception through completion, including monitoring compliance, managing amendments, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure contracts comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and related documentation. Ensure all records are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, company policies, and industry regulations. Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification in contract management is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the healthcare or IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial and government contracting practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
