Architecture / Engineering Building Construction Associate Position Overview:
Pond, Robinson & Associates (PR&A) was founded in 1998 and has its headquarters in Frisco, TX. PR&A is considered the leader in the industry for equity level property condition assessments and construction consulting services. We have a unique opportunity in our Frisco office for a property condition assessor and are looking for qualified professionals that have a strong desire to help maintain our high standards. This full time Architecture / Engineering Associate position is open to candidates that will primarily be responsible for property condition assessments. PR&A also has 8 satellite offices (Tampa, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, NY, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, and Sacramento, CA). We are seeking to add experienced and multi-tasking Architecture / Engineering / Building Construction Associates to join our firm that have strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in working with a team to evaluate the building systems. PR&A provides only equity level consulting services to our clients (no lender services) and is therefore looking to hire someone with this high level of experience or someone that is willing to elevate their current position. This position is open to all major cities in the US.
Architecture / Engineering / Building Construction Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to conduct equity level property condition assessments (PCA's)
- Document Design Reviews (DDR's) for new construction developments
- Construction Monitoring and Draw Review (CMDR) site visits for new development projects across the US.
- Duties will include the ability to assess the following building types: Office, Retail, Industrial, Hospitality, Multi-family, Mixed-use, etc.
- Typical on site job duties include the ability to climb ladders, access roofs, and safely navigate around construction sites.
Architecture / Engineering / Building Construction Associate Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction administration and/or equity level property condition assessments.
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines in a collaborative working environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to communicate internally and with our clients effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Narrative report writing skills is required.

Architecture / Engineering Building Construction Associate Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or other similar Architecture / Engineering or Building Construction related degree required.
