Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office. This is a vital role in our practice, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, friendly, and professional. This position will also include minimal dental assisting
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with dental office administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in dental scheduling software (Dentrix)
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical records management
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
This position will also include limited assisting the clinical team as necessary - seating the patient, chart entries, cleaning rooms, setting-up rooms, instrument sterilization, etc.

Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
