The Digital Marketing Assistant supports the digital marketing team in implementing digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic and enhance brand visibility. This role involves assisting with content creation, social media management, email marketing, and analytics. The Digital Marketing Assistant will work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation
- Create engaging and relevant content for digital channels, including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and website content.
- Create product catalogs for defined target audiences
- Ability to take professional product photography for content generation
Social Media Management
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
- Monitor social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
Email Marketing
- Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting email content, designing templates, and managing subscriber lists.
- Monitor email campaign performance and provide reports on metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
SEO and Website Management
- Conduct keyword research and assist in optimizing website content for search engines.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Update website content and ensure it aligns with the company’s SEO strategy.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns.
- Generate regular reports on campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations.
- Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Paid Advertising
- Assist in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital ad networks.
- Monitor ad performance and adjust targeting and creative as needed to improve results.
Market Research
- Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to support digital marketing strategies.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the digital marketing team and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing projects.
- Provide support for marketing events, product launches, and other initiatives as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks and project coordination.
User Interface (UI) Design
- Design user interfaces for websites and mobile applications, focusing on usability and visual appeal.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internship in digital marketing is preferred.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) is a plus.
- Familiarity with web content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM
