SUMMARY
Quality Assurance Tech is responsible for testing, documenting, Troubleshooting, and completing punch list items. As well has working with install teams sometimes weekly to complete the scheduled SOW per assigned job. Ability to travel out of state if needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
For all assigned properties (assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager and the Director of Field Operations):
- Capture detailed site documentation from the site to ensure SOW is completed. Documentation of testing, install pictures, and equipment.
- Work with Field Operations team leads and regional technicians to complete of any remaining punch list and quality control items.
- Communicate the completion reports to be shared with Field Ops, Warehouse, PM, and AMs.
- Report pre-determined metrics, completion percentages, and challenges to the Manager of Quality Assurance.
- Inspect final output to properties to requirements per Scope of Work and Deployment phase.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television and Internet services in MDU properties and businesses.
- Must have top notch customer service skills, candidates will be entering private dwellings & managed properties.
- Must be able to operate independently, train and oversee installations.
- Excellent organization and communication.
- Be able to complete tasks on-time as defined by project schedule.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Current valid State Driver’s License and non-negligent driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be readily available.
- Must be willing to work on some weekend/overtime.
- A background check will be completed on all applicants considered for this position.
- Out of state and in-state travel is required.
- Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working in closets, rooftops, and construction sites.
- Fiber Optic or Telecom background preferable.
