POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Greenskeeper must possess a working knowledge and ability to use tools, methods and materials in grounds and landscaped maintenance and construction work; an ability to operate utility vehicles and light motorized equipment. Must be able to work in the outside climates. The Greenskeeper must be able to stand, twist, bend, squat and, lift 50 lbs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Rakes and manicures sand traps
· May operate small utility vehicles in hauling mowers and materials and removing debris.
· Excavates and back fills ditches and trenches with hand tools.
· On a designated area of the course operates small power mowers, trimmers, greens mower, tee mowers and backpack blowers.
· Hand mowing or hand trimming work
· Renovations and construction work, i.e., shoveling & raking
· Cleaning procedures and manual labor tasks
· Loads and unloads materials.
· Lays sod.
· Assists in construction of new greens, tees and fairways.
· Cleans drains and culverts.
· Sweeps cart paths.
· Collects and empties litter cans.
· Performs janitorial work in cleaning and maintaining a building.
· Cultivates and waters trees and plants.
· Using riding mower equipment
· Performs other related groundwork as required.
· Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
· Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or Trade school in related field preferred

- Directly To: Golf Course Superintendent/General Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
