Job Description:
We’re looking to hire an eager, curious, and effective Maintenance technician to join our growing team.
As a Maintenance Technician with RISE, you’ll enjoy helping our clients and our team by ensuring the excellent maintenance operations in our client properties. Someone best suited for this role should have experience in high rise buildings with complex mechanical systems. This position will require frequent interaction with staff and clients.
Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- 2 days per week pool needs brushing (2 pools) (spa) (Fountain)
- Robot Vacuum in each pool 2 times weekly
- Pool, spa, and fountain chemical check daily
- Interior painting skills are a must.
- Perform highly diversified maintenance duties.
- Drywall and texture repair, painting, some plumbing,
- Little need but diagnostic capacity for electrical, HVAC
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair deficiencies, test and adjust.
- General upkeep to include power washing, porter services, and keeping the property clean and free of debris.
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance plans.
- Carrying out scheduled inspections on building equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Overseeing inspections for vendor/contractor work.
- Must be available for after-hours emergencies.
- Able to work flexible, and/or extended hours and weekends.
- Carrying out daily/weekly porter assignments
- Swimming pool/spa maintenance
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Pool Maintenance Experience
- Pool Certification, or be willing to get certified in short order should you be selected
- Bilingual. (English, Spanish)
- Strong customer service skills internal and external.
- Prior general maintenance experience to include but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, swimming pools/spas, elevators, vehicle gates, electronic locking systems.
- Broad understanding of high rise building systems and components.
- Broad understanding on Fire, life and safety equipment and procedures.
- Must be comfortable working on various types of projects at multiple locations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation along with proof of liability insurance.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Certifications related to swimming pools/spa, plumbing, HVAC and electrical (Preferred)Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
Education/Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
