We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media and digital marketing, with the skills to create engaging content, manage social media channels, and analyze performance metrics.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
- Previous experience creating content for NYC restaurant industry is REQUIRED.
- Proficient in major social media management platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with a particular emphasis on creating engaging reels, videos, and photos.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and create reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to the rapidly changing social media landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, reels, photos, videos, and news)
- Monitor social media metrics and create reports.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer
- reviews.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness.
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
