Project Construction Manager/Superintendent/Production Coordinator
Morgan Portable & Modular Buildings has an opening for a Traveling Superintendent in South Texas. We are in need of a highly motivated person with knowledge of Modular & Structural Buildings Construction. Must have a construction background and an understanding of all disciplines of construction. OSHA and Safety knowledge needed. Bilingual is a Plus
Job Duties:
- Coordinate Production Schedules and Output.
- Download and organize bid documents as directed.
- Job Estimating
- Analyze and interpret all construction documents.
- Accurately quantify all material and labor.
- Process project quotations and verify vendor bill of materials for accuracy and conformity with bid documents.
- Supervise with the final assembly.
- Prepare scope of work outlines and proposal letters.
- Assist Drafter and Project Managers with estimating change orders as needed or assigned.
- Participate in the preparation of the estimate package for turnover to project management and support teams.
- Ability to manage large crews of people in all trades.
Job Requirements and Experience:
- Relocation could be needed for short term.
- Travel up to 60% of the time.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Experience working in an office, field, and plant environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual Preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently based on workload.
- Planning/Organizing – prioritizing and planning work to ensure efficiency.
- Quality – demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality control of job.
- Adaptability – ability to multi-task and adapt to frequent changes, delays or unexpected challenges with customer quotes/projects.
- Dependability – demonstrating positive work ethic, leadership ability, discretion, initiative and working independently and with a team to get the job completed.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications.
- Experience in MEP Construction (Helpful)
- Construction Estimating: 10 years (Preferred)
- Construction Management: 10 years (Preferred)
- Project Management : 10 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 plus depending on experience.
