As a hands-on Kitchen Manager for our North Raleigh location, you will learn every station in the kitchen and be responsible for all BOH and catering operations. We expect you to handle all ordering, catering, and scheduling and follow all health department guidelines. You will work with the owner and General Manager on hiring/evaluating team members as well as planning and sanitation for the location. Our casual dining restaurant is open Monday through Sunday.
Benefits:
We offer a base salary of 50k to start, 55K upon completion of training.
Bi-weekly and quarterly bonuses totaling 10-15k a year.

Job Expectations:
Lead, manage, and coach BOH team.
Scheduling, hiring, training, and coordination of BOH.
Responsible for ordering and inventory.
Manage the budget - food and labor.
Manage waste.
Have an eye for quality and presentation.
Develop a culture of productivity, communication, and accountability.
Guarantee production is on time every time.
Manage catering and special events.
Ensure all cleaning and sanitation for BOH exceeds Health Department standards.
Guarantee high quality and efficient productivity per Sassool standards.
Provide leadership and clarity to the kitchen -Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks.
Ensure that all recipes are being followed for quality and consistency.
Enforce our policies and procedures.
ServSafe certified (or the ability to so with 60 days).
Provide excellent customer service and service recovery with enthusiasm.
Coordinate with and assist the GM and owner as necessary.
Timely completion of special assignments as requested by the GM and owner.
Job Requirements:
Strong leadership and communication skills

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Must have a high level of customer service
Must be available to work 55 hours per week (10–12-hour shifts) including weekends and holidays
