Five Days per Week, 40 Hours per Week, 12 Months per Year
The Security Monitor position provides a system of accountability and continuous supervision of thesite population by monitoring all camera(s) on site. Reports any outages in the surveillance videos.Reports anything suspicious, anything that violates policies and procedures that may cause harm tosomeone else and ensures the safety of all children and staff.

Provides Security Monitoring.

Maintains surveillance systems and ensures they are recorded at all times.

Ensures correct dates and times are recorded on the surveillance systems.

May provide direct supervision of UAC and ensure they maintain line-of-sight at all times.

Communicates frequently with a shift supervisor.

Assists during transition and movement of children from one activity to the next and one physicallocation to another depending on the department assigned.

Participates in ongoing meetings, conferences, and training programs as required.

Provides coverage for assigned staff when needed.

Responsible for adhering to all CHS, contract agencies, and other state regulations.

Performs duties in a safe manner.

Follows the corporate safety policy.

Participates in and supports safety meetings, training, and goals.

Ensures safe operating conditions within the area of responsibility.

Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Evacuates site with short notice in case of an emergency

Must be able to assist in evacuation due to severe weather threat (i.e., hurricanes, flooding,etc.)

Adheres to Urban Strategies, ORR and State regulations, policies and procedures.

Performs duties in a safe manner.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE and/or REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED
Education: Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: One year of experience working with youths or similar environment

Skills: Office 0365; Bilingual (English – Spanish)
