Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. As an ESL Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their English language skills and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of ESL students
- Provide individualized instruction to students at various proficiency levels
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- ESL teaching certification preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including individuals with special education needs or autism
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology for instruction
- Strong mentoring and tutoring skills
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for language acquisition
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons that promote literacy education
- Familiarity with physical education integration into language learning
- Understanding of education administration principles
