Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to join a team at a leading design company for HVAC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering principles and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design various HVAC system types, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems. Additional responsibilities include construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects, field inspections, developing system narratives, completing load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.

- Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.

Responsibilities:
- Design and fabricate mechanical components and systems using CAD software
- Conduct simulations using tools like Simulink for system analysis
- Develop and implement logic controllers for automated systems
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimize designs for performance
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards in all designs
- Lead mechanical design projects from conception to production
- Create detailed drawings with GD&T for manufacturing processes
- Utilize MATLAB for data analysis and modeling
Skills:
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
- Strong background in Mechanical design and drafting
- Experience with MATLAB or similar analytical tools
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with logic controllers and automation systems
- Ability to conduct FEA for structural analysis
