Experience:
- Seeking candidates with (1) one of the following: Civil, Construction, or Structural Design.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented and enjoy service-oriented type work.
- Must have good overall computer skills.
- Able to work on multiple projects that are at different levels of completion.
- Must have excellent problem solving (sequential thinking and deductive reasoning) skills.
- Must be well organized with the ability to deliver accurate information within established agreed upon time schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Investigations will require visiting sites to obtain detailed measurements recorded in concise and succinct notes and to take photographs documenting observations.
- Single day and occasional overnight travel to assignments in region.
- Write and submit detailed and accurate reports on projects within specific and required time periods in accordance with firm guidelines.
- Communicate with Clients to provide timelines and project updates on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for expert forensic analysis and evaluation of construction accidents and claims, building and structural failures and degradation, premises and walkway safety, civil-structural engineering claims, and construction and workplace safety.
- Safety evaluations include fall protection, scaffolds, shoring, roofs, platforms, guards, material erection, rigging and demolition.
- Failure analyses include steel, concrete, masonry, stone or wood structures and incidents involving storm, ice or wind claims, moisture damage, fire damage, drainage, and workmanship issues.
- Evaluations for compliance with codes and standards
- Provide expert testimony for litigation matters on an as needed basis.
- Occasional participation in marketing activities.·
- Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
- Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
