Aeroflow Health – Lead Regulatory Affairs Expert
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Regulatory Affairs Expert to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position with minimal travel. This position will focus on managing and navigating regulatory frameworks at both state and federal levels. As a Lead Regulatory Affairs Expert at Aeroflow Health, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our regulatory strategy. This role requires proactive engagement with regulatory agencies and a thorough understanding of the healthcare sector's regulatory environment. You will work closely with internal teams and other government relations personnel to ensure a cohesive approach to both regulatory and legislative challenges. While the role requires a high degree of independence, it also necessitates effective collaboration with other members of the government relations team and cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to policy and regulatory issues. Position will not require being registered as a lobbyist unless specifically stated by State requirements for regulatory work.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to advocate Aeroflow Health's interests across various healthcare regulatory bodies at state and federal levels. Such as but not limited to CMS, CMMS, federal & state HHS, etc.
- Actively building relationships with health regulatory officials across the country and pursuing proactive regulatory changes, primarily on reimbursement issues.
- Preparing detailed reports and recommendations to C-Suite, including but not limited to technical information, proposed rules, or other rule making methods. Provide expert regulatory advice and support to internal teams, helping them navigate complex regulatory issues.
- Collaborate with legislative affairs colleagues to align regulatory and legislative strategies.
- Represent Aeroflow Health at meetings, hearings, and other events involving regulatory matters.
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.

- Deep understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines at both the state and federal levels specific to healthcare, primarily with CMS and state Medicaid offices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory documents, legislation and policy changes to understand their impact on Aeroflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to clearly and persuasively articulate the company's positions and interest to regulators, stakeholders, and Business Units across the company.
- Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirement Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience on regulatory issues, including meeting with state and Federal Medicaid officials, composing comment letters, and actively seeking regulatory changes.

- Ability to travel as needed. Travel will vary based on the state.
