Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Heavy Haul Freight Broker/Sales Manager. The Heavy Haul Freight Broker/Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of heavy haul shipments, overseeing the brokerage process, providing exceptional customer service, managing accounts, onboarding new clients, quoting, booking and building loads.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in freight brokerage and account management
- Strong customer service skills (cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and etc.)
- Ability to maintain and generate new customer base
- Ability to effectively dispatch and manage heavy haul shipments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tools
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
