Baystate Health, Western MA’s only academic center and tertiary care provider and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region or the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
· Join our outpatient psychiatry team that consists of Psychiatrists, Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatry residents, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
· Great potential for career growth/leadership opportunities
· Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for a diverse patient population, with excellent collaboration and innovative integration with primary care providers and medical specialists.
· Enjoy a combination of clinical care and resident/medical student teaching with faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. Provide supervision to our 16 psychiatry residents.
· Opportunity to combine Psychotherapy, ECT, TMS, or other clinical interests.
· Monday- Friday schedule, call is backup to residents. Participate in weekend call for extra compensation.

· Qualifications: Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry. Experience working in outpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
