Job Title: Patient Care Team technician
Starting Pay: $18.00 an hour (exceptionally qualified candidates may receive offers of higher compensation.)

Part time shift 2:30pm - 7:15pm
Full time shift 11:15 - 7:15pm
Job Summary:
As a growing psychiatric practice that specializes in TMS treatment for Depression and treatment of first responders, we are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and reliable full or part-time individual to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Create memorable and personalized experiences for patients by providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment
- Greet all incoming guests and patients
- Answer and direct all incoming calls to the proper individual or department
- Use the practice's task management and work flow software proficiently
- Collect copays and balance
- Facilitate both in-person and Telehealth appointments
- Schedule a variety of patient appointments for multiple providers and two locations
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Work collaboratively with the administrative team to ensure all aspects of patient care and practice operations are satisfied with a high level of accuracy
- Run TMS treatments
- Understand and recognize patient safety concerns, reporting them to the provider and/or management as appropriate
- Assess patient safety and follow crisis protocol when appropriate
- The members of this team rotate as scheduled by management between front desk and TMS technician duties
- The members of this team rotate as scheduled by management between our West Olympia and Hawks Prarie clinics
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of medical receptionist experience
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA laws and practical application within the clinical setting
- Proven history of reliable attendance in previous jobs
- Proven history of arriving on time, and ready to work at the start of the shift in previous jobs
- Ability to receive constructive criticism with professionalism and correct errors or adjust actions accordingly
- Strong ability to own actions, including mistakes; identifying when an error has been made, alerting management, and presenting the solution to management proactively
- Experience in a medical environment preferred
- A passion for providing compassionate care. Treating all patients as deserving of respect, support, and dignity
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent follow through with tasks assigned and self-identified
- Professional composure
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to strong professional boundaries with patients

- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively yet retain responsibility for individual job duties and ensuring work is completed
- Knowledge of all major medical insurances along with Washington Medicaid insurance plan is strongly preferred
- TMS technician training will be provided on the job in combination with training to our EHR and workflow management system.
