Job Opportunity:
The Data Outcome Specialist will perform data collection through telephone interviews and data entry for all assigned programs and aftercare documentation. The Data Outcome Specialist participates in the data analysis related to program effectiveness, resident outcomes and contractual requirements. Proven experience with database program(s) required.
Key Duties:
- Data input and monitoring data base system and interpreting results for program improvement.
- Inputs relevant child and family data.
- Tracks attendance, meal counts and other direct services.
- Review master files and compare with database system.
- Learns and complies with all federal laws pertaining to confidentiality and program-related policies and procedures.
- Collects all follow-up information from current and previous program clients, as assigned.
- Collects measurable outcome data related to assigned program contracts and program effectiveness.
- Enters all documentation collected from program clients into the data collection system.
- Submits collected client information to Family Service Coordinator.
- Prepares written recommendations to improve client satisfaction, documentation, or data collection system to Family Service Coordinator, as needed.
- Collects, records, and inputs all client-related outcome data accurately on a daily basis.
- Completes follow-up phone calls and prepares and mails client letters for those who have graduated from program services.
- Wait list maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of an Associate of Arts degree or have completed 60 hours of college coursework towards Bachelor's degree in related area (e.g. Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, or Information Technology/Science).
- Must have proven intermediate to advanced computer skills and prior experience working with database programs.
- Ability to successfully pass fingerprints and criminal investigation screening.
- Must have valid California driver's license and must meet insurance guidelines established by the Corporation.
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid immediately if offered the position.
- Must obtain a TB test and a health screening and meet all pre-hiring requirements as defined by contract specifications.
- Must have the ability to read, comprehend, give and follow instructions.
- Must have ability to read, write and speak in English. Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
- Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office.
