Member Service Representative- E-Branch

Our Member Service Representatives are the faces of the Credit Union, and the primary front-line contact for our members. The MSR's primary role is to assist members with their financial transactions and telephone requests, responds to and resolves problems in a timely manner, creates relationships and establishes rapport with members while maintaining the image and upholding the values of the Credit Union.
*The Next available start date is August 12th, 2024*
This position is full time: 38-40 hours per week. Shifts vary within the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm M-F and include 2-3 Saturdays a month, from 9:00am-12:00pm. This position will be on a scheduled rotation between tellering in the branch and answering phones.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer in-bound calls and assist members and potential members with their requests; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems.
- Perform routine financial transactions including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, auto payments, etc. Over the phone or in person.
- Troubleshoot member's electronic service issues and provide solutions.
- Responding the member's request in a timely fashion, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Responsible for researching members questions, problems and complaints and provide timely follow up to ensure member satisfaction.
- Effectively cross-sell SharePoint products and services
- Data Entry-member applications (memberships/loans)
- Maintain member's information in confidence.

- Compliant with the Bank Secrecy Act by upholding member confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services and will have the ability to identify and cross-sell products applicable to the member.

- Personal initiative and motivation.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Close attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and computer aptitude.
- Ability to handle stress and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Experience and Education:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma.
- 1-2 years of credit union or banking experience required.
- Previous experience working in call center is preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
