A Corrections Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, provide health assessments, review patient medications and assess additional patient needs . Their duties include communicating with providers and other clinical or non-clinical personnel about additional services and resources. Hired RN/LPN will assist providers, maintain patients’ health and use medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs in the correctional environment.
