Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Manager for our busy dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role requires a strong administrative background and experience working in a dental setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage and maintain patient records, including scheduling appointments, updating patient information, and ensuring accurate billing and insurance claims.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) software, such as eClinicalWorks, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Oversee the front desk team, providing guidance and support as needed, and ensuring that all staff members are adhering to office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, including same-day appointments and urgent care visits.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention.
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing patient concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a dental receptionist or in a related medical administrative role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with Dentrix software and dental office management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to provide a positive patient experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with dental office software and systems, including scheduling and billing systems.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
