Duties include:
- Dispensing prescription medications to patients and provide medication counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Supervise technicians and all areas of the pharmacy to ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide education and guidance to patients on proper medication use, side effects, and potential drug interactions
- Verification of sterile and non-sterile RXs and batches prior to dispensing.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Active pharmacist license in Texas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling and communication with providers and accounts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compounding experience preferred (sterile or non-sterile)
-Must be able to work accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
