Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our engineering processes through the innovative maintenance and enhancement of our internal ERP system and the new product development process. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse departments, driving efficiency and continuous improvement across our growing company. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the IT department to enhance the functionality of our internal ERP system.
- Create bills of materials for new products.
- Work with department engineers to develop routings for parts.
- Collaborate with customer service to establish routings for legacy and special products.
- Serve as the functional quality tester for new ERP functionality before production deployment.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing staff to address their ERP system needs.
- Resolve issues related to formulas and bills of materials identified by the manufacturing team.
- Specify and order capital equipment.
- Create manufacturing process flows that optimize production.
- Lead manufacturing engineering efforts on launching new products.
- Become a subject matter expert on assigned production equipment.
- Guide vendors on project tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience, Engineering degree preferred with similar experience.
- At least 5 years of ERP experience in bill of materials and routings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills.
