Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our roofing company. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong background in technology, and a willingness to help grow with our company. They should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively interact with customers. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing daily office operations and supporting the administrative needs of our team. We are currently a small company but growing so there will be duties outside of a typical “office manager” that we will expect you to help with.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling customers.
- Help with lead generation, like calling on property managers to form new relationships.
- Prepare work orders for roofing crews.
- Maintain and manage company databases, including customer and vendor information and project tracking.
- Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure efficient project management and completion.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections via Quickbooks.
- Provide administrative support to company leadership, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing presentations.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong technology skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically Facebook. You will occasionally help with content ideation and creation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Quickbooks.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Passion for growth and continuous improvement.
