Job Summary:
MC Nutraceuticals is looking for Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of an our organization's financial activities. This role involves recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and tax-related activities. The Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in providing timely and reliable financial information for decision-making purposes. A successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a company experiencing hyper growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Record and maintain financial transactions: Accurately record and classify financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts, into the organization's accounting system or software.
2. Reconcile accounts: Regularly review and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
3. Financial reporting: Prepare and generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis or as required by management. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
4. Accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payment of bills and invoices. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients or vendors as necessary.
5. Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with management to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial goals.
6. Tax compliance: Assist with tax-related activities, including preparing and filing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and maintaining records for tax audits. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
7. Financial analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis results.
8. Maintain financial records: Organize and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation. Ensure proper documentation for audits and financial reviews.
9. Compliance and regulations: Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with local and national financial requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
