Job Overview:
MRP is looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Park City, Utah. In this role, you will work to diagnose, repair, and maintain both on-site and remotely with MRP. While at Powered by MRP, you will install, modify, and repair laser-based medical systems. You will sharpen your understanding of the aesthetics industry, master your technical skills, and conquer the opportunity to disrupt an outdated industry.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on medical laser equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently. Able to operate basic electronic and laser test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, Ophir energy meters, etc.
- Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on-site, providing solutions that minimize downtime and disruption to the client.
- Execute technical tasks involved in installing, modifying, and repairing laser-based medical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including issues, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain complex technical information clearly and understandably. Show initiative and excellent customer service, follow established procedures, and work safely.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and flexibility to accommodate their schedules.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide technical insights and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and high-quality service.
- Repair, test, and calibrate devices and equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and other established guidelines.
Requirements:
- Possess basic skills in mechanical assembly and light equipment handling.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and other relevant software.
- Competent in Microsoft Office tools, Google Mail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field preferred.
