POSITION SUMMARY
Lead business development efforts across Federal, State, local, and commercial customer domains focused on US Immigration, Customs and Border Protection, and empathetic care and and mission support for visitors and displaced persons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all marketing, capture efforts, and coordinate across the enterprise to develop discriminating solutions to customer and mission challenges
- Develop and maintain customer and partner relationships that result in program bookings and performance excellence
- Be responsible for Corporate capabilities span security, unmanned aerial systems, Border and facility integrated command and control systems (LEXSO), fire and emergency medical response, medical staff augmentation, medical support, vaccinations, Base and Life Support, Facility Management, Training, Construction, and Logistics
- Must be a seasoned and highly motivated self-starter who can initiate outreach to customers, identify opportunities, build and manage a business opportunity funnel, develop and maintain pipeline goals, and interact and inform senior corporate leadership about opportunities
- Must be able to travel to meet customers or attend business meetings at least 30% of the time
- Work from a remote location is permitted
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in Business and MBA
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- At least 12-15 years of progressively higher responsibilities in business development/marketing for mission support of border and immigration programs
- Experience with medical services/devices, pharmaceutical, surgical, or other related medical fields is highly desired with at least two of those years at the Vice President, director, or equivalent level
- Direct experience working with federal, state, and local governments and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) supporting border and immigration programs
- Experience working closely with federal, state, and local governments, nongovernmental organizations, and border and immigration support partners
- Extensive experience in marketing, understanding and translating customer requirements, developing solutions, and developing compelling and winning proposals
- Experience negotiating and formalizing inter-corporate relationships/teaming agreements
- Experience either building successful marketing and conducting business development for new medical companies (start-ups) or starting up new lines of business within organizations strongly preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of software tools

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
