Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and support the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
- Follow all state and center guidelines and regulations for early childhood education and care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, babysitting, caregiving, or nannying role
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
