Job entails ensuring constant client safety, accountability, encouragement, and program coordination for male clients at a residential addiction treatment facility near Woodstock, GA. Looking for someone who is teachable, responsible, dependable, and assertive, with a heart for service. Mental Health/Counseling/Human Services experience preferred but not required; a current driver’s license; insurable driving record; and good references. Background check and drug testing will be required.

About Us: We are a 90-day residential facility that helps individuals that struggle from substance abuse, alcohol abuse, and/or sexual addictions. We are located on a wooded, serene property, where we provide intensive therapy for individuals with a faith-based foundation, and an above reproach clinical team. Recovery Tech: The Recovery Technician (RT) provides services to clients, including group and/or individual training on a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, self-management, and processes. The RT provides service to the individual and community, while focusing on the unique needs of each individual client.
Primary responsibilities Include:
- Provide supervision/oversight to residents in the facility and create a safe living environment by monitoring residents throughout the shift.
- Provide guidance and redirection to residents who are exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
- Provide behavior management assistance in the classroom as needed.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to assist a resident in gaining self-control if needed.
- Acts as a learning coach by assistance in understanding and completing homework.
- Perform housekeeping duties within the residence.
- Provide shift report to include daily progress and activities of each resident to the incoming staff.
- Participate in bi-monthly residential meetings and any other training that is required by the agency.
- Complete all required documentation in a legible, professional manner.
- Maintain records of residential progress and services performed, reporting changes in residential behavior to Program Director and assigned therapist.
- Knowledgeable of agency policies and procedures and able to execute appropriately.
- Adhere to HIPPA Regulations and maintain all resident confidentiality as required by law and agency policy.
- Serve as a role model in carrying out the mission of the agency.
- Assist and/or provide transportation for residents to appointments and activities.
- Assist with facilitating classes and activities if required throughout the shift.

- Full-time: 12-hour shifts (overnight - 5pm-5am)
- Alternating schedule: first week Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday / second week Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Education:
· High school diploma (Required)
Experience:
· 1 year in Mental Health / Addiction (Preferred but not required)
