We are looking for an experienced Master Diagnostic Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and customer service skills. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting vehicle issues, and completing repairs in a timely manner. We offer a large customer base that provides our technicians with a steady and consistent workflow along with a brand-new building with air conditioning and new equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
- Explain repairs to customers in a professional manner when needed.
- Achieve and maintain all training requirements established by David's Certified Auto Repair and ASE
- Maintain and care for all shop tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean workspace, building, and lot.
- Handle customers' vehicles and property with care.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Own tools & ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39.50 - $50.00 per hour
