Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance worker will perform the following tasks:
- Conduct basic preventative maintenance or housekeeping tasks
- Replacing light bulbs, painting walls, floors, ceilings., changing HVAC filters
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, including circuit breakers, wiring and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Basic carpentry
- Install or repair minor equipment as needed
- Collaborate with other workers including managers and professionals
- Local Travel is required 50% of the time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols, ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repairs
- Organized, detailed oriented and has good communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work in confined areas
- The ability to work independently, able to work well with co-workers and is self-motivated
- Basic PC skills including Microsoft products
- Ability to problem solve and overcome obstacles
- Must be dependable in punctuality and attendance
- Must have a valid driver’s license for travel between buildings
- Must be able to perform work in high areas (rooftop, scissor lift)
- Overtime and weekend work as needed
- Physical stamina- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Complies with all OSHA general safety rules
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
