Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:
As a Product Leader, you will play a critical role in defining, developing, and managing our products spanning SaaS, mobile apps and integrated financial services. First, you’ll work directly with our founder, who has provided product vision for our company for over 2 decades. In time, you will build and lead a team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our ERP clients, and drive business growth. This position involves working closely with the CEO, other executives, and cross-functional teams to ensure that the company's products meet client needs and achieve business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in SaaS product management and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
Business Requirements & Specifications:
- Translate market and business needs into documented requirements, mocks and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales and - when appropriate - 3rd party partners - to define product requirements and specifications.
- Work with internal and external Subject Matter Experts to further define scope and flesh out feature details
- Ensure an outstanding User Experience is integrated in all of our products, and all that we create
- Provide mocks & specs to Development Team for coding & execution
- Provide clarity and guidance as needed for Development and QA teams
Customer Focus:
- Engage with clients, customers and partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure product-market fit.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Market and Industry Expertise:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SaaS product management, including artificial intelligence
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Here’s the stuff we expect you to be doing day to day:
- Ensure that we are accurately “listening to the market” and delivering on our company’s goal to streamline and grow our clients’ businesses.
- Consistently create utilitarian features for LOU, our cloud product, that help the businesses we serve in measurable ways.
- Measure the impact of features, identify enhancements and iterate to ensure we’re delivering value on an accelerating basis to our clients.
- Lead cross-department collaboration to establish a clear set of ranked priorities spanning foundational items, features, enhancements, and bugs.
- In time, manage the team that creates business requirements, mocks, and specifications to turn priorities into actionable work for developers.
- Create and maintain Product Books for internal team use, for all of our products, add-ons, and 3rd party integrations.
- Ensure our product UX and UI deliver an outstanding, brand-consistent experience that reduces clicks and processing time.
- Sign off on all releases to ensure we’re delivering a quality, market-ready product.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies that can accelerate product creation while maintaining high quality, making recommendations as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and clients.
- Serve as a consultant to the CTO on sensitive information and relay valuable information from meetings to the product team.
- Keep the CEO updated on day-to-day priorities and time allocation.

Travel
Travel could be required but is not expected on a frequent basis.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software product management
- Proven track record of success in developing and launching successful software and/or mobile app products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of software development processes and tools
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes
- Strong understanding of the software industry and its trends
- Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Experience building out an ERP system
- Experience with companies of varying sizes
Here’s where you’ll hang out:
This is a hybrid position working from your home and our office. When working from our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington you’ll be in a professional office environment that’s easily accessible. We are located less than a mile from I-5, and across the street from a natural grocery store, a brewery, and many local restaurants.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and workdays are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. This position will work in a hybrid work environment and has the option to work remotely multiple days a week, or at the office full-time if desired.

- $130,000-$150,000 annually. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the compensation range based on their qualifications and professional experience, as well as the needs of our business.
