As an Inventory Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. You will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring that our stock is accurately recorded and organized. Your efforts will help us meet our operational goals and provide exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Process and fulfill inventory orders.
- Update inventory management software with accurate and timely data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory needs are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overages.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
