Job Description:
As a Guest Services Representative at Sea Island, you play a pivotal role in delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Serving as a gracious ambassador, you embody the warm hospitality of Sea Island through genuine interactions and courteous telephone manners. Your commitment to providing friendly, attentive, and timely service contributes to creating positive and seamless experiences for guests throughout their visit. As a dedicated member of the Guest Services team, you actively engage with guests, anticipating and responding to their needs to ensure an exceptional stay.
Your responsibilities include conscientiously following procedures for guest check-in and departure, posting room charges, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy on guest accounts. Communication with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments is essential to obtain current information on guest room status, ensuring the delivery of Five-Star service. Additionally, you coordinate the prompt delivery of messages, guest mail, and gifts to guest rooms. Job essentials include maintaining in-depth knowledge of Sea Island's properties, services, and the local area to assist and inform guests. Consistent adherence to team processes, maintaining a clean work environment, and promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues are crucial aspects of your role. Your creative problem resolution skills help address service issues positively and in a timely manner, reinforcing the commitment to delivering meaningful and memorable experiences. Finally, you willingly and promptly execute any duties delegated by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the Guest Services team.
Other Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Guest Services at a luxury hotel or resort is preferred
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Physical strength and stamina to perform a role in guest services in a resort environment, maintain ongoing physical
- activity throughout a scheduled shift to include lifting 30+ pounds, comfort with noise levels and repetitive tasks

- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, reach, stretch, bend, push, pull, and walk, for prolonged periods
