Job Description
Woods of Terror is seeking an attentive ticket taker to assist in providing friendly customer service, managing a cash drawer, and selling tickets and/or accessories. Position Responsibilities:
- Ticket Booth Agent will be expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to the event start each evening to prepare gates for opening on time.
- Throughout the course of the event, the ticket agents will be responsible for helping to keep lines moving by efficiently checking in guests as they arrive.
- Ticket agents will scan pre-purchased tickets into the event as well as sell guest tickets and other merchandise as they arrive.
- This position requires the candidate to come dressed to work outside in the elements for the entire duration of the event (regardless of rain, snow, or cold air), those who are unable or unwilling to be outside for all hours of the event should not apply.
- Following the event each evening, the ticket takers will be responsible for counting down their cash drawers and balancing cash and ticket sales.
- Training will be conducted digitally and onsite prior to/during the first several nights of the event.
Required Experience/Ideal Candidates:
- All candidates applying for this position must be available for all dates of the event or have pre-approved dates for attendance.
- The ideal candidate would have cashier / drive-thru experience, experience handling cash, and/or experience with other forms of crowd control in a high-pressure environment.
- The individual should be reliable, capable of problem solving and trustworthy.
- Moreover, they should also be capable of following directions, multitasking, and working well under pressure.
- All candidates are subject to a background check.
